Is this proposal generator really free?

Yes, completely free, no account required, no watermarks, no fees. Download as many proposals as you need.

What should a freelance proposal include?

A project understanding section, your proposed solution, a scope of work, itemized pricing, a timeline, your relevant experience, and clear terms and conditions.

How is a proposal different from an invoice?

A proposal is sent before work begins to outline scope and pricing for client approval. An invoice is sent after work is done to request payment.

What's a good acceptance rate for freelance proposals?

30-50% for cold outreach, 60-80% for warm or referred clients. Below 20% usually means vague scope or missing pricing context.

Should I follow up after sending a proposal?

Yes, a follow-up 3-5 days after sending doubles most freelancers' response rates. Keep it brief: "Just checking in to see if you had any questions."

Can I track whether my client has opened the proposal?

Not with this free tool. Flowlancerr's full platform includes proposal tracking, so you can see when a client opens your proposal and set automated follow-up reminders.

Can I get an e-signature on my proposal?

This free tool generates a PDF for manual signing. For digital signatures and full proposal management, explore Flowlancerr's paid plans.
